Anniversary Infinity Scarf
This scarf is such a celebration! The bright and colorful Anniversary Infinity Scarf has such interesting textures and patterns. The weight is perfect for spring; not too heavy, but not too thin either. We made a batch of these, and each one is unique and technically one-of-a-kind, so the one you get probably won't be the one pictured. The "vibe" from one scarf to the next is quite consistent though, because we shuffled the fabric scraps up so much before sewing them together.
We named this the "Anniversary" Infinity Scarf because 2024 was our Anniversary year! We celebrated both 20 years in business, and 10 years at our storefront in downtown Traverse City. Released on March 21st 2025, this scarf was made using scraps from two unique fabrics from our 2024 clothing collection.
- Length is ~30"
- Width is ~13"
Fabric
This scarf is made from a patchwork of two different types of really special fabrics. One fabric is Kantha, which is 100% cotton. This upcycled quilted fabric is hand-stitched together from three layers of featherweight old saris in India. You can see the thick white "running stitch" that holds the layers together. The other fabric is salvaged Rayon, which Yana died during the full solar eclipse on April 8th, 2024. All the pieces used to make this batch of scarf was "off-cuts" from making larger clothing pieces, making this product very very very low waste.
How it's made
This scarf was made in Michigan USA from sustainably sourced materials. Yana and her team carefully constructed every item in our fair wage, low-waste production studio.
